15 Weeks and Counting!!

We're 15 weeks today! I went to Dr. last week and everything looks peachy keen jelly bean! I still have issues getting a deep breath, but if I just push my tummy down, it's all good. It does seem to have gotten much better since we're done moving. I got to listen to heart beat. There's always that moment that you think the Doctor won't be able to find one, so I always breath a sigh of relief when I finally hear the little munchkin.

Nausea is gone.
Cravings are in.(They're ALWAYS in - ill one second, eating cheese fries the next!)
Meat aversions are in. (If I cooked it, I can't eat it.)
Lost 5 pounds (AMAZING! Considering my diet is very Diet Cherry Cokey and bready)

I have decided to call this my "Over-reacting Pregnancy". My poor bewildered husband doesn't know what hits him sometimes. It makes for fun and interesting ways to apologize later when I realized I just yelled at Christian for not telling me that he was out of the shower. (True story)

We Moved!

Yes, we moved. We've kicked the idea around all year and we finally bit the bullet and put our home up for sale during Labor Day weekend. We tried to do Sale By Owner, but in this market, we knew it was never going to happen. So we hired a good friend of the family, (one of my Mom's 'Diva' Friends) Debbie Valgardson. She is awesome! We put the house up on September 11th. The first buyer that walked through our house put an offer down. It's been such a quick roller coaster ride, we're still reeling from everything!

There were a couple of issues with our buyer, he's a psycho freak about the carpet and thought our 'solid as a rock' stairs needed to be more sturdy, but whatever. Everything is finally in order.

We will totally miss our Ward and neighbors and the people we served with in our callings. We had a great 3 years!

For now, we're kicking it in Riverton with my parents. My Dad is excited because someone will cook dinner for him again. My Mom is excited because someone will put the Christmas lights on the roof again.

It was a crazy couple of weeks. I left for Cali with my parents and sisters for Mattison's Blessing the weekend before we were supposed to move, so when I got back on Monday, it was pure chaos getting everything together. We thought we were so organized until the guys that came to help started hauling out boxes. I stood there, wondering, "Where the H did all this stuff come from?" We had TONS packed, but there was still so much! Anyway, it's all done now - I'm not looking forward to moving again....

I Dream Cool Things...

Now he's only shirtless here, because he was shirtless in my dream. Besides, I don't have a thing for him; Christian Bale is my celebrity crush. ANYWAY -

Last night, I dreamt that Johnny Depp came to my house. He was just hanging out, I made steaks for dinner; Don't worry - Christian (my husband, not Bale) was there too!! Johnny was not wearing a shirt. He did however drape a small red towel over his chest. I asked if he wanted a t-shirt, and he said yes, so I gave him Christian's Police Academy t-shirt that says "ROBINSON" on the back. He then took a nap on my living room floor while Christian slept on the couch.

Then I started critiquing his career. I told him that I never cared for 21 Jump Street (which I never even watched). I thought Edward Scissorhands was overrated, (I don't really think that). Then I told him that what really made me a fan of his was Finding Neverland and of course the Pirate movies. He just sat and nodded and we chatted about The Nightmare Before Christmas and how he was really good in it. (He's not in it.)

You say cray-on, I say crown. Let's call the whole thing off!

If this was an audible blog, you would all make fun of the way I say "crayon". My husband almost busts his gut and keeps asking me to say it. It sounds like "crown". When I first told him this story he was so lost. He kept thinking "Why did Nathan have a white crown?" I think it's a Skousen thing....(Probably just Harold's kids...)

What Mommy Learned Today

No matter how hard you try to explain the scientific reasoning behind it, there is no telling an (almost) 2 year old that a white crayon will not work on white paper. However, it did end up with one of us in tears and one of us collapsed in a heap on the couch. (Guess who was who.)

**There may have some other color paper around somewhere, but Mommy was trying to take a nap! I told him to get some colored paper, but he just looked at me like I was insane - or lazy - ahhh both.
