I'm sitting here at work and the song, "Kiss From a Rose" by Seal comes on the radio. HAHAHAHAHA I remember this one time, (I was 17 - not that it's an excuse) when the Batman Forever movie came out and this song was on the Soundtrack and for whatever reason, I became obsessed with the song. As we were leaving for a trip to California, I transferred the song over and over and over again on one whole side of a tape. Why I couldn't just rewind it, I don't know. Why did I like the song so much? AND the song still doesn't make any sense to me - "I compare you to a kiss from a rose on the gray." Huh?!?!?! And to top it off, I thought he was saying "grave" not gray. Yes, I am cool like that.
So do any of you have any pathetic obsessions that looking back you wish you knew what the heck you were thinking??

Oh the obsessions. I'm peeing at the Brad summer home. Let's see...what else....The song by Chicago "If she would've been faithful" but I changed the words to "If HE would've been faithful, I would've missed out on Brad!" So gay! The Real World, Hawaii. Too many to list them all, especially from the single days. I'm glad I'm not part of the Twilight obsession. I'm still trying to get through the 3rd one.

I also had an obsession the LB obsession!! (Lance Barnes in case you forgot) I remember when that movie came out and I love the Seal song too, I actually loved the whole soundtrack. I worked at Cineplex Odeon back then, you know cause I was cool like that, so I saw the movie like 20 times! Those were the good ole days! :)
So I can still say word for word the Sprite commercial that Kris Kross came out with! Oh my gayness...that is so funny. I also used to freak out over Sinead O'conners "Nothing compares to you". Whatev!
And who can forget Melanie Larson's obsession with NKOTB? I wonder if she's going to see them when they come to town?!

Yeah I thought it was grave too. Hmmm, Karen are you prego? Not to mention, you silly little girl, I was the one who copied it over and over to a cassette. I did use your CD and CD player. I wanted it like 4 times and hit repeat but forgot about it. Then I didn't have time to fix it because you know, we always did our tapes as we were going out the door. I still have the tape. I used brown sharpie and drew a rose on it. The thing is, the song isn't even that good! Maybe you did it too and we were both just gay. Like when I thought I'd NEVER get sick of the the Celine Dion Titanic song! HAHAHA that happened about 5 minutes after it came out.
P.S. the old Batman's don't even compare to a kiss from a rose on the grave to the new ones with the hottest Christian B!
